Manchester United officially announced, on Friday, the renewal of the contract with Bruno Fernandes.
The association between the two parties is now valid until 2026, with another year of option.
When announcing the contract renewal, Manchester United highlighted Bruno Fernandes’ 49 goals and 39 assists in 117 games for the club, earning him two Player of the Year awards.
“Since signing, I’ve built a special relationship with the club and the amazing fans. I grew up following this team, dreaming that I could play here one day, and that dream is now a reality and an honour. Two years later it’s still great to go out to Old Trafford, and listen to the fans. And they’re singing my song, scoring goals against Stretford End. It’s a real privilege to wear this shirt and fight for this amazing club”, begins the Portuguese midfielder, in comments relayed by the club.
“There is a lot I want to achieve here, and I know the rest of the team and staff think the same. More than anything, we want to give the fans the success they deserve. We’ve shared some great moments in recent years, but the best is yet to come.”
