Arena Multiusos de Cuba opened its doors yesterday for a half-full night race, with many people in the field eager to see the bulls.
On the field, two cattle ranches with credits are signed between so-called “hard” cattle ranches. From the Palha cattle ranch came three well-presented estados. The first, third of the order, was stout and powerful and conveyed tremendous emotion. The ranch boss was rewarded with a return to the game of ruido. The fourth command was thrown, and he was communicating danger, though he was not forthright in attacks. The fifth was also a solid bull, he served well and moved, not late for an iron moment.
The three specimens from the Pegoras cattle ranch were also true to the show. The first was complicated, it got ahead of the mount and didn’t make the rider’s job any easier. The second was not easy either. He needed her to be okay with him. The last of the race was stout, noble in just measure and with much action, charged with humiliation. Cattle turned to the wheel.
Tito Semedo was responsible for opening the arena. It was uneven on the long iron, which improved on the second iron. On the short machines, the deal went from less to more, starting with a wrong fairway and an iron that was wrong in placement. He corrected his hand and proceeded to make the right deal. In the fourth of the standings, he did everything right, without reaching the victory in a performance that was more than the others and finished with an excellent palm iron, his best time in Cuba.
João Salguero da Costa’s first tackle of a bull from the Herdade de Pégoras didn’t make his task any easier. I started the job with some irregularities in the long hardware. In the short intervals, as the bull advanced to the rack, he solved the card by nailing three irons in the fluke of the fiddle. In the fifth of the order, he started the job with a crimp to three right lengths. In shorts he was in good shape, emerging in the first three good bandrillhas, and treading on vulnerable terrain.
Louis Roxsignol Jr. was the grand winner of the race. He drew the best batch and made the most of it. Against his first draw, Balha who was gritty and moved let loose two good long shots in good form. In the short setups it was in very good condition, and stands out for its good luster. But the big victory of the night came at the end of the race. He was exceptional receiving the bull and letting go a good two lengths. In the shorts he was great, betting on the luck the opposite snake got which turned out amazing. He did well in the Brega setting and in the shot of sorts, and took the opportunity to show in Brega the brave bull that was in front of him. The audience was very involved in the fight and brought the bullfighter to a brilliant victory.
In the class of handles, there were three groups of pitchforks from Alentejo in the arena: São Mancos, Real de Moura and Beja.
For Amadores de São Manços, the field of Alexandre Rocha, which was not closed on the first attempt, was opened. I consumed the second with a good help from the group. Joao Nuno could not withstand the strong blunders on the first try, making a great catch on the second try.
For Real de Moura, Mario Rosa made a catch on the first try that turned out to be amazing. Ismael Amador was unable to close with the bull on the first three attempts, and ended up correcting it on the fourth.
Posted by Amadores de Bega Nuno Barreto caught the night on the first try. The race was closed by Miguel Pavia, who found it difficult to close on the first attempt due to complications with the bull’s cornea. In the second, he made a good catch.
The show was moderated by the Technical Delegate, Domingos Jeremias, with the assistance of the veterinarian, Dr. Anna Gomez.
