The University of York, in the United Kingdom, is one of the 24 Celebrity Members Russell Groupformed by the major British institutions of higher education focused on research, such as Oxford, Cambridge and University College London.

The institution offers more than 250 undergraduate, graduate, and research courses in the sciences, arts and humanities, health, business, law, and social sciences, among other areas.

York University: 27 free courses to boost your CV

In addition to paid academic programs, York University offers a number of short-term free online courses, known as MOOCS, that provide an interactive higher education experience to students around the world.

Courses last between two and four weeks and are delivered using videos, quizzes, case studies, and discussions with other students. All you need is an internet connection.

All courses are taught through the platform FutureLearn. Registration is required to access the content of the selected programme.

There are currently 27 free course options in media, physics, history, business, social sciences, nursing, and more, as well as select college preparation courses.
