“In 2014, when the IoT business began to take shape, we began exploratory development and verification. In 2017, the R&D of a new system to support all green devices and applications with an integrated system architecture was officially launched. This is our goal,” said Lei Jun, CEO of the company. Xiaomi, on the social network Weibo.

Xiaomi HyperOS will target a more interconnected Xiaomi ecosystem and will not be limited to smartphones only, HyperOS (Android + Xiaomi’s self-developed Vela architecture) will be available for Xiaomi’s phones, cars, and AIoT products.#Xiaomi #MIUI #Super operating system pic.twitter.com/C6cQY0QBJw
