Google will have Android 12 almost ready for release, which means that brands like Xiaomi are about to use this new version. There is still a long way to go to adapt the new system to your customizations.
To short the course and anticipate part of the work, Xiaomi will already have a version of MIUI 12 in the tests. This already has Android 12 and thus promises the arrival of this new platform from Google in a broader way.
The new Android 12 should be introduced by Google very soon. The brand chooses to unveil its new version every year at the end of the summer, something that should be repeated this year, later opening up the new to brands that use this operating system.
Many are already preparing their updates, and they are working on several development versions that have been made that put this system ready. Xiaomi now knows that it will also get a beta version to speed up the MIUI setup process.

What has been revealed shows that there is indeed a beta version prepared, based on the recently released MIUI 12.5, but this time with a change. Android 11, which was at its base, has been replaced by the new system and thus uses Android 12.
This version will not be available to everyone yet and will be developed and tested on a limited group of users. It is intended for Xiaomi programmers and will only be limited to those associated with its development who are in Xiaomi's internal testing program.
Interestingly, and as is usual within Chinese territory, this first version will not contain any Google apps or access to the Play Store and its services. It is also limited to Chinese and English and can only be used on Mi 11 (Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11i, Mi 11X Pro, etc.).
Since it is a very early release, it should take a long time to make it more widely available. Google still has to finish Android 12 and only then Xiaomi will have access to what it can use in the new MIUI and many other smartphones.
