As one of the most widely used apps by drivers, Waze has a range of useful tools to help them. These aren’t always visible and accessible, but those who know them are sure to make the most of them. One of these is the important help in knowing where you parked your car. Find out how you can use it.

Waze tool to find parked cars

More than knowing which route to take or whether there is traffic on that route, Waze also has a bunch of other very useful and practical tools. One of them focuses on parking and can help drivers figure out where they left their car.

Where did you leave the car parked?

To be able to use this tool, you only need to do one step when parking your car. Just click on the mark to open an additional menu that is present. In this menu you can choose the option you will use.

To get there, you have to tap on the three dots on this interface, next to the point you've chosen. Inside, you can open another menu, which will give you two new options. The one you're looking for is the one called "Parking spot". Finally, you'll see a new icon at that point in Waze, marked with a parked car.

Waze can help you find

In order to be able to return to that point and thus find out where you left the car parked, you must search the map for this new point. All you have to do is follow the map to go to that point and find the place where you left the car before.

Again, you can also tap on the dot to see a menu appear, where you will have several options. Here are the three dots again to see the new options. In this case, you will have 3 options, all related to the specific parking spot on Waze. If necessary, you can choose to “Preview location” or “Remove from map”.

This is a help that not many people know about and can use to avoid losing their parking spot. You can use this option in the future and thus never miss the spot you are looking for, often due to simple forgetfulness. This is also proof that Waze has basic tools, not always visible to everyone.
