Two Portuguese companies have combined to create a new startup with solutions for the health field. Verticare Systems is the result of a partnership between B-Simple and the RIT Group and wants to contribute to accelerating the digitization of the health sector, reassured the founders, who positioned the project as a new growth driver for the two founding companies.
Verticare Systems will provide hospital solutions, develop and integrate digital solutions into the healthcare space. The offering includes solutions that B-Simple has already commercialized, to which professional skills are added to support “the development of new solutions, the creation of health portals, the implementation of system integration, cloud infrastructure, among other technology services, and digital and data integration—”driven,” he explains.
Telmo Fonseca, CEO of B-Simple reveals that Verticare’s first business contacts have already begun: “We have recently been in Latin America on meetings with potential clients and for very large projects. If we can close them, that would be great news for all of us.” In addition, contacts are underway at the national level as well as with institutions in Spain and Germany.
B-Simple already has solutions in place in many hospitals in the Iberian Peninsula. The company reports that today more than 300,000 patients receive daily care with the help of the company’s solutions, a number that will soon grow to 500,000. The RIT Group is a group of technology companies that provide IT solutions, training and certification, to support the digital transformation of companies.
As CEO Adirito Ferreira explains, the group “has a well-defined strategy to diversify its industries, and the health sector is a priority. Even because it is estimated that by 2030, 80% of doctor-patient interactions will take place through digital channels.”
The official, who also leads Readiness IT, says the company has already developed some projects in this area, allowing him to realize that this is the “sector that will benefit the most from accelerating the digital transformation of its operations, with high benefits, both for organizations and for patients.”
