Vehicles donated by the Paraná Government to the Municipal Health Department are parked and not used | Parana

The People’s Republic of China in Curitiba on Thursday recorded (17) new cases of cars donated to municipal health departments that were parked and not used. This time, the parked vehicles were found in Quatro Barras and São José dos Pinhais, two municipalities in the Curitiba metropolitan region.

It was revealed, on Tuesday (15), the case of 30 new cars that were donated more than a month ago to the Ponta Grossa Health Department in Campos Gerais, parked and unused.

In total, the Paraná Health Department (Sesa) has donated 1,500 vehicles to all municipalities in the state. The total cost of the fleet was 42 million Rls. Vehicles must be used exclusively in the Family Health Program.

This Thursday, RPC found five vehicles designated for the program but parked in the logistics and infrastructure sector at Quattro Paras City Hall. The municipality was contacted, but did not respond to the questions in the report.

The state health department was also contacted and was unable to provide information on why the vehicles were parked in Quattro Baras.
