Vanguard Properties has installed 270 electric vehicle charging stations in the Bayline residential complex located in Armação de Pêra in the Algarve region.

The real estate developer, led by José Cardoso Botelho, used technology from the Portuguese company SOLX, the company said in a statement.

270 electric charging stations with SOLX technology will be installed in a project consisting of 255 apartments which is in the final stage of marketing.

For José Cardoso Botelho, CEO of Vanguard Real Estate, “The Bayline project lacked an innovative solution like the one SOLX offered us. We have found the perfect partner to make Bayline a residential complex that promotes electric mobility, equipped with an electric vehicle charging solution based on technology, ease of use and safety.

“With SOLX Park technology, future residential owners will be able to take advantage of an integrated charging platform, which combines features such as tiered load balancing, real-time monitoring and centralized management through an intuitive back office,” says Vanguard.

The real estate developer says, “With the My SoLX mobile application, the system allows, using a smartphone, to control and monitor the charging process remotely.”

“This app is available for Android and iOS, and issues real-time notifications, provides access to charging history and makes it possible to program and adjust the charging power,” he concludes.

For Lucio Ferrao, CEO of SOLX, “the integration of our technology into the Bayline project is a milestone” and explains that “it is possible to combine luxury, comfort and sustainability through innovative electric charging solutions.”

Vanguard says this project is part of its “sustainability” strategy.

The real estate developer recently announced the installation of 200 electric vehicle chargers in the Infiniti Tower in Lisbon.

Real estate developer Claude Berda also mentions that in the field of electric mobility, he has already announced an investment of about four million euros for projects in Comporta aimed at building 40 kilometers of bicycle paths and acquiring a thousand electric bicycles.
