US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken will visit China and the UK between June 16 and 21, according to an official statement issued on Wednesday morning.
In Beijing, Blinken is set to meet with Chinese officials to discuss the importance of keeping the lines of communication open to “responsibly” manage the bilateral relationship. According to the memo, the US Secretary of State should also comment on potential cooperation on bilateral concerns, regional and global issues and shared challenges.
While in the UK, he is set to attend an event to help rally international support for Ukraine’s recovery from Russian attacks. He is also expected to meet other European partners and allies during his stay in London.
