Anti-aircraft missiles of this system can hit targets at an altitude of 20 kilometers and at a distance of 40 kilometers, which is a greater range than the Stinger anti-aircraft missiles also offered by Berlin.

The Iris-T systems consist of three parts: ballistics, which can be installed on any truck with a ramp, and a radar, and a command module installed in two other vehicles.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Tuesday held a conference call with the leaders of the Group of Seven industrialized nations so that Ukraine’s allies would provide not only air defense systems, but also enough missiles to deal with Russian attacks.

Zelensky issued the call after several Ukrainian cities and energy system infrastructure were hit in the past two days by Russian missiles, in attacks that left at least twenty people dead and a hundred wounded.
