After the epidemic ends, the British government is preparing to reimpose toll fees on foreign trucks, starting from August 1.

A fee was imposed on foreign trucks traveling on British roads and motorways in April 2014, ostensibly to fund road maintenance (domestic trucks are responsible for another type of tax).

With the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic and difficulties in supplying the population, the London authorities suspended collecting fees, but now that the situation has returned to normal, they have returned again.

The system remains essentially the same. All +12 tonne goods vehicles registered abroad will be charged a fee, the amount is determined depending on the load, Euro class and length of stay in the territory.

Doing excercise,. Vehicles weighing between 12 and 30 tonnes, Euro 6 or above, will pay £3 per day, £7.50 per week, £15 per month, or £150 per year. The same vehicles but in Euro 5 or below will pay £3.90 per day up to £195 per year.

Foreign trucks to be traded in the UK must be pre-registered on the current website for this purpose and the fees paid in advance.
