UFSCar study assesses working conditions for health professionals SUS |  Sao Carlos and Araraquara

The Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) is seeking health professionals from the Unified Health System (SUS) to participate in Research Which assesses working conditions in the stressful daily life of the region, especially after the arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Professionals interested in participating in the study The liability form must be completed by September 2021 (click here).

The study called Champions , It aims to assess psychosocial factors and sleep characteristics with musculoskeletal symptoms and depression in health workers.

For this, research participants will be provided with online monitoring for a period of 12 months. They will also be required to complete questionnaires about their physical and mental health status every three months. It takes about 15 minutes to complete the forms.

The study began before the pandemic decree, and with the situation, the members involved in the research realized the importance of validating these professionals in its various aspects.

The initiative, developed by researchers from the Department of Nursing in partnership with the Department of Physical Therapy at UFSCar, is designed from the point of view of the long journeys these professionals take and the constant stress caused by responsibility for patients’ lives.
