a The third round of the Portuguese Cup was concluded on Sunday, a day that witnessed new matches that presented many goals, smooth qualifications and three qualifiers for teams from the first league.

Varzim donned the mantle of the Giant Grave and at the beginning of the day eliminated the 1st Marine Division, after a penalty shootout tie break. Since no one is without two, Leça also eliminated a team from the I League, using penalty kicks to eliminate Arouca.

After Benfica, Sporting and Porto secured their presence in the next stage of the Portuguese Cup, Sporting de Braga followed the same path, maxing out Moitenci.
