to me world cat dayon August 8, pokemon go He released a 3D billboard ad featuring the most lovable feline characters in the game franchise.
The immersive video runs until September 5th in Tokyo at the eastern exit of Shinjuku Station, and has dominated the digital billboard for Cross Shinjuku Vision, which made headlines last year with its massive 3D video.
The minute-long video can only be described as a delightful choreography of ultra-realistic 3D effects. It starts with the good old Pikachu appearing next to the Pokémon Go logo. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2HQDmvy5TcQ
After a few seconds, the entire frame collapses to make way for a lush rainforest backdrop that quickly and randomly fills in with different cat figures entering and exiting the billboard as if interacting with the building itself or reaching out to the onlookers below to greet them. This same tropical place is flooded, at intervals, with fire, ice or water flowing from the frame.
At some point, an avalanche of Pokeballs falls off the screen before being “pushed” over the edge by the Pokemon – the latter seeming to grab the frame and look down with a welcome smile.
Finally, the video ends with all the characters next to or above the company logo, giving us one last look before “moving on.”
