According to the Kantar Brand 2021 study, we can find 4 car brands in the top 100 most valuable brands in the world and one of them has the highest growth rate in the entire ranking: Tesla. The brand led by Elon Musk is also the most valuable automobile brand in the world, valued at $42.606 million thanks to a 275% increase over the previous edition of the study. With this, the American electric car brand took 47th place in the ranking.
Toyota comes in second with $25.975 million, a 5% loss over the previous version, and now ranks 64th. The Japanese brand closely follows Mercedes-Benz (67th) which is now worth $25.835 million, with a growth of 21 %. BMW, 71st in the ranking, is the fourth most expensive car brand, and the last in the top 100, with a value of $24,821 million (+21%). Finally, the top 10 automakers were completed by Honda ($10.570 million), Ford ($10,444 million), Audi ($8.931 million), Nissan ($8.317 million), and Volkswagen ($7.059 million). ($6.858 million) and Porsche ($6.858 million). All 10 brands together have a total value of $172 billion.
