There are already many rumors behind Asus’ successor to the Zenfone 7 last year, but some images have now been released that clearly show what the new Taiwanese smartphone will look like, and you definitely won’t be surprised by this: it will continue with the camera, which we will have full confirmation on May 12th. , The date of the official event.

Specifications and images of the two upcoming devices – Zenfone 8 and Zenfone 8 Flip – have been published by 91 mobiles, Based on information provided by Ishan Agarwal Leaker. As its name suggests, the 8 Flip has three cameras built into a rotating mechanical mechanism on the top edge of the screen to capture selfies, while the 8 Flip has two rear cameras.

From the leaks, it appears that the Zenfone 8 Flip represents a relatively slight increase in specifications compared to last year’s Zenfone 7 Pro. It has a Snapdragon 888 processor instead of the Snapdragon 865 Plus, but the new model has a massive 5000mAh battery, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The 1080p OLED screen is still flawless thanks to the rotating cameras, which are still at 6.67 inches and 90Hz, according to the information. It also weighs 230 grams, which might mean another heavy machine.

Zenfone 8 is a compact smartphone with a 5.92 inch screen, while the Flip 8 has a 6.67 inch AMOLED screen.

The cameras also look the same, with the fundamental difference. Whereas last year’s Zenfone 7 Pro had a 64MP main camera paired with an 8MP telephoto camera and a 12MP ultra-wide camera, the new 8 Flip will replace the Ultra Wide camera with a 12MP macro.

Meanwhile, the benchmark Zenfone 8 is a more conventional device, according to a leak. Apparently, it will have a smaller screen of 5.92 inches with a resolution of 1080p, but internally there is the same Snapdragon 888 processor and 8 GB of RAM, albeit with a smaller battery of 4000 mAh and 128 GB of internal storage capacity.

It will also come with a lower rear camera, since it does not have an 8 Flip telephoto. However, it should have the same number of cameras overall, thanks to a separate perforated selfie camera at the front. It is also equipped with an increasingly rare headphone connector.

No details have been provided on phone pricing or release dates, but with the launch event early next week, we don’t have to wait long for all the official info.
