Irmandade da Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Fornos Algodres, through CLDS 4G Servir Fornos de Algodres and in partnership with the municipality and Matansa Parish Council, is holding the V Health Fair/Health Tours, allied to Phase VI of Anta Trails.
In a conversation with Mais Beiras Info, Teresa Pinto, Coordinator of CLDS 4G Serving Fornos de Algodres, told us that the Health Fair and Health Days “are part of the CLDS 4G Serving Fornos de Algodres action plan, in the 36-month period”.
Today, November 13, 2022, the V Health Fair/Health Tours, with free admission, is being held at Matança Primary School.
In the morning, they conducted several shows and awareness sessions on different topics and there was still a lot of entertainment in the mix.
This type of initiative is very relevant because it “brings people together, old and young. We have also joined Phase VI of Anta Trails for this very reason”, said Teresa Pinto.
The day isn’t over yet, but Teresa Pinto is already striking a “very positive” balance, expectations exceeded.
At 2 pm, you can attend an awareness session entitled “Prostate Cancer Prevention”, written by Dr. Antonio Guilherme de Oliveira (Portuguese League Against Cancer).
There will be no shortage of entertainment in the afternoon with performances by the Coral Group “Mondego Voces” and also by Rancho Folclórico de Figueiró da Granja. Mercadinho works all day.
