Manas (AM) – Grêmio Recreational Samba School UK da Liberdade officially opens next Friday (18th) at 8pm, promising to thrill the public at Carnival 2024.
With the theme “Matriarchs,” the group will sing the powerful saga of mothers, celebrating women as a source of life, love and resistance, on a journey that crosses eras and continents.
The launch will take place at the Terreirão do Samba Mãe Zulmira Gomes, the court of the school in Moro da Libertade. During the event, composers will receive a plot summary. The dispute to select Samba-Enro will take place in September.
United Kingdom President Rangel Magalhas shared some expectations for the big day.
“We are preparing something special, which reflects our love and commitment to Samba. This year’s Sathi will be a tribute and I am sure it will touch everyone’s hearts.

In addition to the start of the plot and synopsis, the night promises to be a party and lots of music, with Furiosa Battery, Elas Condam Samba and Bagot Group.
