If you’re looking for information about manicures, the article is here for you! This guide will help you choose the perfect manicure  including what the different types of nails are for your outfit, skin tone and lifestyle. Before starting acrylic nails get to know some types of manicures. There are so many different types of mani-pedis now! In this article, I will be talking about the four main types of manicures and what they mean for your appearance.

Basic Manicure

A standard manicure usually includes trimming, shaping, filing, and buffing your nails, which could include trimming a cuticle oil treatment, and a hand massage. Painting the base coat, color, and top coat is next and then a cuticle oil is applied. It takes up to 30 minutes.it can  last anywhere up to seven days. The polish can be removed with nail polish remover or acetone.

Gel Manicure

A gel manicure includes the same basic manicure process but with the addition of a gel polish cured under UV light twice, then the top coat is applied to cure the nail,it  takes up to 45 minutes.it can last anywhere between two to three weeks. Gel polish is removed with an acetone soak-off, but it’s best to return to the salon for take-off.it should not affect the nail health if done and removed by a professional technician. A client risks damaging their nails when they peel, chip or lift the gel polish, as they are removing it improperly.

French Manicure

A French manicure is a manicure that has a sheer pink or beige tone with a white polish tip on each nail. It can take up to 45 min to an hour.it is done by servicing a basic manicure and applying a sheer pink or beige tone and a white polish tip on each nail.it can last up to two to three weeks if done in gel or up to seven days if done in regular polish. It can be removed with acetone if in gel or with nail polish remover if done in regular polish. It should not affect the nail health if done and removed by a professional technician.

Paraffin Manicure

A paraffin manicure is a type of manicure that uses paraffin wax instead of polish.which hydrates the skin. A paraffin manicure is known for its treatment of extremely dry skin. The heat of the wax opens the pores and increases circulation to the hands.it can be done by 50 min. First, you heat up the wax, then dip your hands in the wax and wait for about 20-30 minutes. After that, you peel the wax off and massage a lotion or cream onto the hands.this process cannot damage your nail.If you’re looking for a gentle, alternative way to treat your nails, a paraffin manicure might be the perfect option for you.

Conclusion

Whatever type of manicure you choose,  prep your nails with a base coat, apply your desired polish color (or gel polish), brush on a topcoat, and finish with cuticles care. With these simple steps, you’ll have beautiful nails that last for weeks (or even months)!
