The plane carrying the late Queen Elizabeth II’s coffin from Edinburgh to London on Tuesday carried the most passengers ever.
The information was advanced by flight tracking site Flyradar 24, which saw almost six million viewers follow the first minute of the flight, and more than 4.79 million on the Royal Air Force Globemaster C-17. , followed through. Flightradar24 website and mobile app, and 296,000 did so via YouTube.

The British plane was named ‘Kittyhawk’, a term reserved for any military aircraft carrying Queen Elizabeth II.
At one time the most attention-grabbing plane on top of the podium took US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to Taiwan in August, with 2.2 million people watching the plane’s flight.
FlyRadar 24 says it tried to make its online site as stable as possible before the plane took off with the remains of the British monarch, anticipating high user traffic. Even so, the aerial observatory admits that the “big peak” recorded on Tuesday was “more than we expected”.
