Until 5 pm on Saturday (17), the Military Police promotes a social action with free health, beauty and leisure services at the Military School Irmã Maria Teresa Parodi, in Vila Jardim, Cidade Satélite district, west of Boa Vista. Among the activities available, there is even horseback riding.
In the health field, it provides services in the fields of ophthalmology, orthopedics, cardiology, gynecology, physiotherapy, nutrition, and nursing, in addition to consulting for the assembly of prevention teams, mammography, and vaccinations.
Haircut, manicure, pedicure and makeup are the activities available in the beauty area. Teams from the Consumer Protection and Advocacy Program (Procon) are also on site to answer questions and provide advice to residents.
For children, the game offers horseback riding – on the horses of the institution’s cavalry squad, distribution of popcorn and ice cream. The action, called “Ação civic social”, is being promoted by the 1st Battalion of the Military Police.
