yoé Ricardo Abad, a 48-year-old firefighter from the Community of Madrid, known as El Purgui, died last Tuesday of Covid-19.

The man was one of 1,400 firefighters who refused to be vaccinated in the area. It turns out that Jose was the first fatal victim of the disease within the regional fire brigade.

The victim worked for 21 years at the fire station in Luzuela and because of people like him and Covid deniers, the regional government has insisted on the need for vaccination, especially in high-risk groups and professionals who are in contact with other people.

The professional refused to vaccinate several times. He was even drawn to the fact that his work could pose a danger to others, an argument that did not deter him.

Joseph died on August 31.

Very sad news for my body #fire_men.
