Smartphones and all their features have always captivated users. They are equipped with hardware that meets the requirements, while the software is at the same level. The constant complaint is the advertising provided, but even that now seems to have its days numbered on Xiaomi smartphones.

Xiaomi Announces HyperOS Smartphones

End of ads on Xiaomi smartphones

One of the biggest drawbacks of Xiaomi phones over the years has been the presence of advertising. The company has reduced this type of income a bit compared to previous years, but completely deactivating it is still a complicated task. Fortunately, the manufacturer seems to be working on a permanent solution.

the site Smart Breaks Leaker Yogesh Brar has discovered that Xiaomi is working on a single button to disable ads for this system on HyperOS, its version of Android. The post shared a GIF showing the “Ads in system apps” on/off button, which can be accessed through the settings menu.

If confirmed, this would be a significant improvement over the current approach. Currently, Xiaomi owners who want to disable ads need to disable the MSA app and then visit the settings menu in each major system app.

Xiaomi Announces HyperOS Smartphones

HyperOS users will appreciate this change.

The post where this new feature was revealed confirmed that the new feature was available on the Xiaomi 13 Pro running a beta version of HyperOS. This does not yet mean that this new feature will be ready to launch anytime soon.

Xiaomi has not yet commented on this new (alleged) feature that appears in HyperOS in some situations. At the same time, it is also unknown whether it will be exclusive to this new system, in a future update or whether it will also be extended to other models that still have MIUI.

This will be another important change from Xiaomi for its smartphones. The brand has always had ads present in the system, as a way to make these devices profitable and earn additional income. Naturally, users do not appreciate this presence, which is sometimes intrusive.
