On May 31, the Committee for the Protection of Children and Young People of Vendas Novas will hold the first meeting “Mental Health: Healthy Relationships, Happy Children” in the city of Alentejo.
The event will take place between 08:30 and 17:00 in the VendasNovas Municipal Hall and its main objective is to discuss and showcase the impact of mental health on young people.
At 08:30 the secretariat opens, followed by a cultural moment, “Once upon a time… O Cante”, at 09:00 and the opening session at 09:15.
At 09:45 there will be a session, “The Impact of Healthy Relationships on the Mental Health of Children and Young People,” with Andre Tavares Rodrigues, and a discussion at 10:45.
At 11:30, the session “Multisectoral Intervention for Children and Youth” will take place with the participation of Adelia Bentes, Carla Cabella and Sofia Rebelo, followed by a discussion at 12:30.
In the afternoon, from 14:30, the CPCJ, the Public Ministry and NIAVE enter with María Manuel Coelho, Dalia Palma, David Aleixo and Pedro Félix.
At 3:30 pm, the session “Mental Health – Prevention and Intervention” will take place, with the participation of Daniela Machado, Salome Ratiño, Catrina Rivero and Fernanda Marreros, followed by a discussion at 4:30 pm.
At 4:45 pm there will be a moment of musical entertainment with Grupo de Jovens Lar de Betânia and Mfitness Youth Group. At five in the evening, the initiative ends with a snack for the participants.
