We have been living in the digital age for some time now, where the means of communication are more and more advanced. It is no wonder that every day we are faced with a new type of application that allows us to communicate with people who are even on the other side of the world.

Although the most used messaging apps are still Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp, others are gaining more and more users. One such means of communication is Telegram.

Telegram is a messaging application very similar to WhatsApp, but more oriented towards the business world, so it includes many stores and advertisements, but it can be used by all the people who want it, so much so that it is possible to find groups formed there about everything you can imagine .

Just like on WhatsApp, on Telegram it is also possible to send photos, audios, videos and links, as well as there are popular gifs, emojis and stickers that everyone loves to use.

Amazingly, the iOS version of Telegram was released before the Android version on August 14, 2013, while the official Android version was only released on October 20, 2013.

Since then, Telegram has been gaining more and more popularity. Because? Well, the great advantage given is that it has its own server, so its storage is supported in the cloud, that is, it takes almost no space in the cache of a cell phone.

This means that, in practice, users can store all of their Telegram chats, messages, and media in the app’s own cloud, preventing these things from taking up space on the device itself.

As amazing as Telegram’s features actually look, they don’t stop making news. The last one is that the app will have a paid version that will cost around 25 BRL in Brazil ($5 in the US).

Although no official statement regarding the values has been released yet, we can already say that it will be a premium version and completely separate from the free version.

How will the paid version of Telegram work?

The paid version of the app will be called Telegram Premium and it will have some features and tools that the free version cannot access, such as large media upload sizes. Its users will also have early access to new features that will be released in the future.

Pavel Durov, co-founder of Telegram, said that it was necessary to launch this premium version of the app as an option for users so that the app could continue.

There is still no prediction of when this “update” will start working, but it is expected soon.
