England face Pakistan in the T20 World Cup Final as Joss Butler’s side seek more glory on the international stage.

England are just one win away from uniting the T20 and ODI World Cup, after their success in the 50th format at home in 2019.

This final brought exciting tension in the Super Over as England defeated New Zealand, and there is more fireworks expected to face Pakistan at the famous MCG.

England advanced to the final with an impressive 10-point wicket win over Pakistan, with Butler and Alex Hales putting together an impressive runway from 170 runs.

Here’s everything you need to know.

What time is the England vs Pakistan match?

The T20 World Cup Final will begin at 8am GMT on Sunday 13th November at the MCG in Melbourne.

How can I watch?

The T20 World Cup Final held in England against Pakistan on Sunday will be available on free TV in the UK.

As in 2019, England’s bid to lift the trophy will be shown live on Sky Showcase and on Channel 4, Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Cricket.

What’s new from the team?

Mark Wood and David Malan missed England’s impressive 10-0 win over India in Adelaide with groin and thigh injuries respectively, but Butler revealed that the duo were “improving”.

There were more encouraging signs in practice on Saturday afternoon, when Wood threw what appeared to be near the limit for some net increases, with Malan having a long hitting session.

While England coach Matthew Mott said on Friday that “taking injured players into the big games is a real risk – you might really regret it”, Wood and Malan appear to have the chance to get out.

“It hasn’t been many days since they are not fit enough for the semi-finals, but we will give them every chance we can,” Butler said.

Babar Azam and Muhammad Rizwan, the first and second place finishers from Pakistan, recovered once again in the victory over New Zealand.

Opportunities

England: 11/8

Pakistan: 4/6
