Indigo Capital Partners led the funding round, which also had participation from previous investors such as Cherry Ventures, Accel, Lakestar and Armiler Venture Partners.

The new round of funding has allowed Rove to raise eight million euros to make cross-platform data integration into spreadsheets faster and easier through artificial intelligence (AI) features. With this round of funding, the startup with Portuguese DNA can already expand its presence in its core markets of America, Europe and the United Kingdom.

Indigo Capital Partners led the funding round, which also had participation from previous investors such as Cherry Ventures, Accel, Lakestar and Armiler Venture Partners.

According to a statement, the spreadsheet platform is “already used by hundreds of thousands of users around the world,” and its software supports “all the expected features of Excel and Google Sheets.” At the same time, Rose says its product delivers Layout Exclusive, the world’s first AI explorer.

The same report shows that its platform is used by renowned companies such as Amazon Web Services, Hewlett-Packard, Prisma Media and Mercado Libre “for its perfect user experience, impressive graphics, integrated integrations, AI copilot and strong collaboration features”.

“We are pleased to close this round with our new investor, Indigo, and continue to receive support from existing investors such as Cherry, Accel, Lakestar, Armiler and others. We are excited to have Cristina Fonseca join our team with her invaluable global experience in building successful SaaS businesses,” Humberto Ayres Pereira, co-founder and CEO of Rows, was quoted as saying in a statement.

“This investment is the first of a new 70 million Indigo fund, whose main subscriber is Banco de Fomento. Venture capital“, maintains Stephen Morais from Indigo Capital Partners. “The Ross team is as exceptional as the product. We have followed the company since its inception and now is the right time to add our knowledge and network to develop the product and massively expand sales globally.
