Rockstar went on to admit that Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition didn’t meet the quality standards they were accustomed to.

The release was last week, and the technical issues are massive, not to mention the pulled content that was in the originals, the songs.

It was yesterday that through a release Rockstar has apologized for what happened and will be working to compensate and correct technical issues in the Trilogy.

“First of all, we sincerely want to apologize to everyone who has had problems playing these games.”

“The Grand Theft Auto series – and the games that make up this iconic trilogy – are as special to us as we know they are intended for audiences around the world. Updated versions of these classic games have not been released in a condition that meets our quality standards, or the standards our fans have come to expect “.

They also say that they are working to fix problems reported by players.

“We have plans ready to address technical issues and improve each game in the future. With each planned update, the games will reach the level of quality they deserve.”

In the same statement, they raised another issue regarding members of the development team being abused on social media, and are asking the publisher for fans to maintain respectful and civil behavior.

“However, it is hard to point out that we hear reports of development team members being mistreated on social media. We would like to ask our community to maintain a respectful and civil discourse about this release as we work through these issues.”

“We will be adding the classic PC versions of Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas back to the Rockstar Store as a bundle. Trilogy – The Definitive Edition for PC On the Rockstar Store until June 30, 2022, you’ll receive these Classic versions in their Rockstar Games Launcher library at no additional cost.
