Rita Pereira was invited to a parade at El Corte Inglés to mark the 20th anniversary of the brand and was accepted with great pleasure, since at the beginning of her modeling career it was this brand that opened some doors for her in the region.

What the artist was not aware of is the dimension of the event, which surprised her, as she stated on her social media sites Wednesday.

“The idea was to show two changes of clothes. So good so far. The question was, I wasn’t expecting it to be an event with paranoia, with a quality of production and organization that is hardly seen in Portugal, let alone 500 people watching me, sipping cake and having friends supporting me.”

“When I realized all this, I started getting nervous when I started when I was 16. And the coolest thing, for the past 20 years I’ve been one of the consistent models at El Corte Inglês. I used to do about 4/5 shows a day.”, to remember.

However, the actress couldn’t be more satisfied with her performance. “Those butterflies in my stomach and the craving to not be disappointed. I think it went well. Thank you, El Corte Inglés, for giving me the opportunity once again to show you off,” she concluded.
