The Graduate Program in Health (PPGS) of the Faculty of Medicine of the Federal University of Jos de Fora (UFJF) has launched an accreditation notice for new permanent professors, with no permanent association with any other programmes. Five vacancies will be available and registration will open from March 21 to 31, 2022, which must be done via email ([email protected]).

Among the elements highlighted in the general notice, it is worth noting that the goal is to fill vacancies for development and integration in the three focus areas of PPGS: human health research (two vacancies), pre-clinical and technological innovation (2) vacancies and animal experiments (slot). one).

Among the selection criteria is the need for candidates to be full professors at the UFJF, with due intellectual and scientific output in the proposed areas of focus listed above. The number of supervisions completed by undergraduate students, as well as experience in other graduate programs and integration into the national and/or international system of science, technology and innovation in the 2017-2022 quadrennial period will be eligible criteria.

The current coordinator of the programme, Claudio Teodoro de Sousa, comments that the selection came as a result of retirement and subsequent changes in permanent advisors to the Collaborating Professors. “This is a great opportunity to accredit advisors into a 5 Capes Postgraduate Programme. An opportunity for five vacancies for professors with relevant scholarly production and mentoring experience.”

the program
