Bandai Namco recently unveiled something new that will bring joy to all nostalgic gamers who have followed video games since their inception, and have found in PAC-MAN, a fun partner to spend long afternoons and nights of gaming.
Development (and scheduled 2024 release) was then revealed for PAC-MAN Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs, a game that brings the popular pea glutton game to consoles and PC, and brings with it multiplayer competition to make things even more engaging.
PAC-MAN Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs will feature improved visuals, new game modes, a host of customization options, and new music to set the chomping pace.
The game also promises to raise the level of competition with cross-platform play that allows up to 64 players to compete against each other and the addition of custom matchmaking with a buddy system, ranked mode and global leaderboards.
PAC-MAN Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs offers a lot of variety and features that make this unique version of PAC-MAN Battle Royale even more fun. In the game, players must make their way through several interconnected mazes to become the Chomp Champion - also known as the last PAC standing at the end of each match. Gain an advantage over other players or turn the tables on ghosts, and use a variety of power-up items that grant PAC-MAN armor, enhanced speed, and more.
Players can also sabotage their rivals with ghost-assisting power-ups. Not only will they be able to hack PAC-MAN's usual diet of dots and the occasional fruit, but they can also hack other player-controlled PAC-MAN characters.
