a This Monday, Albert Einstein Hospital issued an update on the health status of Brazilian football legend Pele who remains in hospital, “without expectation of discharge”, but with an improvement in his respiratory infection.
“Edson Arantes do Nascimento was admitted to the Israelita Albert Einstein Hospital on the 29th for a chemotherapy re-evaluation of a colon tumor, set in September 2021. There is still no outlook for discharge, and the patient continues to show improvement in his clinical treatment in case of respiratory infection .
It is reported that Pele was taken to hospital two weeks ago for tests and a re-evaluation from the chemotherapy he underwent to treat cancer.
