After watching Jack Catterall’s victory in Leeds, Bob Arum directly threatened the British Boxing Board of Control on DAZN in the center of the ring.
Arum grabbed the microphone as Cattrall addressed the crowd after winning a grueling rematch against Josh Taylor. When the pair first met, Taylor outscored Taylor by more than two hundred punches and landed nearly fifty.
This time, Chorley won the most closely contested rounds on the Combat Press scorecards, with both judges scoring Catterall 117-111. A third of the rounds were fairly even, scoring 116-113.
While most believe the judges got it right, at least Arum acted with the boxer’s hands up. The top leader said: “These scorecards are a disgrace, an absolute disgrace.

“I feel so sorry for Josh. I thought he won the fight. These scorecards are ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous. I would never allow an American fighter to come here and the British board is planning the fight. Those scores are ridiculous,” he added.
Game room boss Eddie Hearn couldn’t resist a laugh at Aroom’s expense: “Call the police. He’s out of control!
“To be fair, I agree with Bob; the scores were very high, but without a doubt the right man won! What a fight, what a night!
Bob Arum is still 92, but he won’t be taking any American fighters to England anytime soon.

Gatorle, who should have been the undisputed champion two years ago by dominating Taylor, said: “Tonight was bittersweet. There are no world titles. I won the fight. We can finish this chapter with Josh Taylor.
Asked about the score, Catterall added: “Look, I believe I won the fight. This time I took more risk. Josh is an elite operator, (he’s a former) undisputed world champion. We knew we were going to face each other, but I went with everything, I went with intelligence, even in the second half of the fight, when I was very reserved, I controlled the pace and did not attack. . Big punches. I was getting off clean.
Taylor called for a third fight despite losing twice to Catterall.
“I thought it was a great fight. Fair play to Jack. He was a better fighter than the first fight. But look, I thought I stole the fight. If he wants to challenge for bigger fights, he deserves it. But it’s to each his own, so let’s go. Let’s make a trilogy. .”
