It is the biggest challenge of my career. Two or three years ago, when I was in Japan, I never imagined I would be here. The best decision I could make,” he began. To say Morita, before praising Robin Amorim, greens and whites coach. “He speaks good English and I understand him very well. As I imagined, what I knew about him was exactly the image he had when he hadn’t arrived at Sporting yet. I really like ‘meiinhos’ and everything else we were doing in training.”

Lions fans hailed her in their final game of the 2021/22 Championship against Santa Clara, and Moreta admitted it was something he wasn’t expecting. “It was undoubtedly a huge surprise. It was amazing, my heart was pounding. It was so exciting, but I couldn’t show it on my face.”

While admitting some shyness, the Japanese assumed that “playing in front of 50,000 spectators in the stadium” would not be a problem. “I don’t work much on social networks, but I like to communicate with fans. On the field, I don’t mind being in front of 50 thousand people, but being here for an interview really costs me more …”.
