Mercadona has announced that it will begin the recruitment process for new stores in Setúbal and Montego, which will open their doors next year. For these new supermarkets, Mercadona is looking for more than 100 employees for all departments, both part-time and full-time.

The new spaces represent “a major step in the expansion project that Mercadona has developed in Portugal since 2016,” the company says. The company currently has 24 stores in Portugal, in the regions of Porto, Braga, Aveiro and Viana do Castelo. This year he expects to “invest 150 million euros and recruit a total of 600 people, with a contract valid from day one”.
