President Luis Inacio Lola Da Silva officially invited federal representatives Andrej Vuvoka (PP-MA) and Silvio Costa Filho (Republicans-PE) to take over the Ministries of Sport and Sport. Ports and airports, respectively. This announcement was made official in a memorandum issued by the Planalto Palace, on Wednesday night (6), after a meeting between the President, invited parliamentarians and the Minister of the Secretariat of Institutional Relations, Alexandre Padilha. Lula spent the afternoon preparing the final details of the cabinet reform in a closed agenda at the Alvorada Palace, his official residence, in Brasilia.

Negotiations have been underway for months and have seen the Republican Party and the Progressive Party – the latter represented by Mayor Arthur Lira (PP-AL) – enter the first level of government. Vuvoka takes over from Anna Moser, while Costa Filho succeeds Marcio France (PSB), who will take charge of the Ministry of Small and Micro Enterprises that will be created. The Republicans and the Popular Party are among the largest parliamentary groups in the House of Representatives, as the government seeks to strengthen a support base for approving projects.

Anna Moser’s fate has not been announced. The new changes represent the fourth cabinet reshuffle promoted by Lula in his current term, in less than a year. In July, the change in the Ministry of Tourism had already been announced, with the departure of Daniela Carneiro (União Brasil-RJ) and the appointment of Celso Sabino (União Brasil-PA), who took office about a month ago. This measure was a condition for the national leadership of the Brazilian Confederation to remain at the base of the government, after internal disagreements with the former minister.

In April, General Gonçalves Dias requested his resignation from his position as Prime Minister of the Office of Institutional Security of the Presidency, in the context of the revelation of images of the coup saboteurs’ invasion of the Planalto Palace, on 8 January. .

President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva met on Wednesday afternoon (6/9) with the Minister of Institutional Relations, Alexandre Padilha, and Federal Representatives Andre Vuvoca (PP-MA) and Silvio Costa Filho (MP for Pernambuco). The representatives were respectively invited to the Ministries of Sports and Ports and Airports, and they accepted the invitation. The appointment and inauguration will take place when President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva returns from the G20 meeting. Minister Marcio France will assume the new responsibility for small and micro-enterprises.

On a social network, Andre Vuvoca thanked President Lula for his invitation and trust. “The great challenge will be to definitively position sport as a state policy, given its undeniable social and cultural importance. I will focus on strategies, plans and goals in search of results, with a commitment to continue guiding my actions in dialogue, respect, balance and responsibility, with the main goal being to benefit all Brazilian men and women.” “.

Silvio Costa Filho also sent the invitation to take on the new role at the helm of the Ports and Airports Group. He said in his speech: “We will conduct a dialogue with male and female workers, the national productive sector, state governors and mayors, and male and female mayors in Brazil, so that we can collectively advance the country’s economic and social development agenda.” His social network.

In a note published on the website of the Ministry of Sports, Anna Moser lamented the short time to implement a comprehensive sports public policy. According to her, the procedures implemented during this period and the expected deliverables in the file were presented to the President. “We have had little time to change the reality of sports in Brazil, but I know that we have given a lot, built a lot and transmitted the policy of President Lula to those with whom we have come into contact from the north to the south of this country. I will continue to fight and contribute to a general sports policy that is For everyone and everyone and everyone. I thank those who have been with me on this short and arduous path.”
