Local Health Unit – PS Ovar meets with the Executive Director of SNS

Yesterday, December 14, 2022, Professor Fernando Araujo, Executive Director of the SNS, received the Socialist Party of Ovar, with a delegation made up of members of the Political Committee, Emmanuel Oliveira and Fatima Pinto, accompanied by the Socialist Deputies. Susana Correa, Member of the Parliamentary Health Committee and Hugo Oliveira, Vice President of the Socialist Party Union of Aveiro.

In search, Ovar mergers will be created in new ULS in SNS scope. The referral possibilities announced for Ovar Municipal Integration are ULS Entre Douro e Vouga, Santa Maria da Feira or ULS Aveiro.

The Socialist Party of Ovar has expressed concern about the possibility of Ovar merging into ULS Aveiro, because it is a geographically inappropriate, inappropriate and absurd option in terms of providing health services, contrary to everything that was agreed upon in defending the interests of the population from the municipality of Ovar. The PSO hopes, as is their duty, that local political decision makers will respect the legitimate interests of the residents of Esmorez, Cortega, Maceda, Arada, São João de Ovar, Ophir, Valega and São Vicente de Pereira, and that whose realization cost so much is now being dismantled inconsistently .

The Socialist Party of Uvar was pleased to note the inauguration of the Executive Director of the SNS, to reflect on the best and best scenario for the inhabitants of the municipality of Uvar, taking into account, in our opinion, the reference to the ULS Entre Douro e Vouga, in line with the obligations and practices assumed.
Above all, the interests of the people must be preserved. It is what Ovar’s Socialist Party has defended and will continue to do.
