Lisbon tracks European gains after Boris’ departure. BCP and Galp rise more than 3% – Stock Exchange

The PSI finished 1.41% higher at 5,967.19 on a day when the resignation of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson spurred European markets.

Of the 15 included in the national index, only two closed in the red, while the remaining 13 ended the day higher.

Altri led the gains, rising 4.32%. The paper mill is still correcting the nearly 10% fall it suffered on Tuesday.

In the energy space, Greenvolt advanced 2.7% to approach the eight-eight mark, while EDPR rose 1.64% and the parent company achieved 1.36%, on the day it was announced that Ocean Winds insurance – EDPR’s “joint venture” with Engie’s power supply contract in the Kingdom the United States for 15 years.

Stalling the index’s development, Jerónimo Martins fell 1.97% after several days of gains, and the REN lost 1.23%.
