Summer is coming, and the desire to share photos on social media, search for restaurants online or find the best route on digital maps requires unlimited internet access. Among mobile operators, there are summer offers that allow users to enjoy unlimited internet outside Portugal, for those who do not have this function during the rest of the year.

Among the various offers presented on the “ComparaJá” portal, Vodafone and MEO stand out with temporary campaigns that offer unlimited internet to users.

In the case of MEO, the operator’s tariff offers unlimited mobile data for two weeks and is available between June 23 and September 15, with the “Live the summer with unlimited mobile data” campaign.

Vodafone is back with last year’s “Happy Summer” campaign, which gives customers unlimited mobile data for two weeks, on dates of their choice, between June 17 and September 8. However, the internet speed is capped, so as not to congest data traffic.

For those who are not customers of these operators, you can opt for the prepaid tariff. This alternative does not require loyalty and works by pre-recharge, so users can have unlimited mobile internet. Prices vary, with options of 15 euros for 15 days of use (NOS and Vodafone), or 15 euros for 8 days (MEO).

Use wifi
For those on vacation with limited data, a good trick is to try to use Wi-Fi whenever possible. Most hotels, restaurants, and other establishments allow free internet access.

Turn off data
Avoiding turning on mobile data when not in use also saves this function, as well as the cell phone battery.
