Huawei has announced two new displays in the Huawei MateView series: Huawei MateView and Huawei MateView GT. This launch marks the first major moment for the first line of screens in the Huawei product family, which is also an extension of the qualities of the Huawei Mate series, which we have always accustomed to cutting-edge technology, great reliability and excellent quality.
Huawei MateView GT is an ultra-wide curved screen that supports a refresh rate of 165Hz, with the innovative built-in SoundBar. With the Huawei MateView GT, Huawei offers its customers a more powerful and efficient display, taking the gaming and entertainment experience to a whole new level.
Ultra-wide curved screen for an immersive viewing experience
Huawei MateView GT is Huawei’s first curved screen, designed to maximize gaming performance and create an immersive entertainment experience for gamers. Its 34-inch 21:9 curved shape supports a resolution of 3440 x 1440.
In terms of color performance, Huawei MateView GT increases accuracy in game and video editing because it supports DCI-P3 color gamut. Each monitor is professionally calibrated for a Delta E value.
Frequent updates to improve graphics capabilities
Huawei argues that frequent updates are required for any gaming monitor. With the support of a refresh rate of 165Hz, Huawei MateView GT improves the graphics processing capabilities of the connected device. This not only ensures a smoother and clearer image resolution, but also reduces any damage to the user’s vision.
When it comes to gaming, the Huawei MateView GT comes with Dark Field Control, which adjusts screen brightness in low-light and under-exposed scenarios, which can help gamers identify their opponents more quickly. Additionally, the monitor includes a Crosshairs feature that is specifically designed for FPS games. Even when the playing field is out of range, Huawei MateView GT will provide players with information to help them aim and shoot easily.
As the first Huawei monitor designed for gaming and entertainment, the Huawei MateView GT delivers excellent performance in these two areas and features many powerful features, including five-way joystick function and On-Screen Display (OSD) menu. The new Huawei display is also certified by TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light, which supports DC dimming, which effectively reduces glare and blue light, which can harm the eyes.
Integrated SoundBar
The innovative SoundBar for the Huawei MateView GT precisely combines the speaker and screen base in one piece. Whether it’s games or videos, users can immerse themselves in impressive surround sound, all thanks to the two speakers with stereo 2.0 support that can be found in the MateView GT’s SoundBar. The RGB touchpad on the SoundBar provides a customizable lighting effect and allows gamers to easily adjust the volume with a light touch. For scalability, the Huawei MateView GT also provides a wide range of inputs, including a 3.5mm audio adapter for headphones and microphone, HDMI 2.0 video inputs, DisplayPort 1.4, USB Type-C for charging and a Type-C port. Together, these inputs serve the needs growing users.
