Violation of Hong Kong’s mandatory quarantine order is punishable by a fine of up to HK$25,000 (about 3,100 euros) and up to six months in prison.
This is the third type of quarantine bracelets adopted by Hong Kong. The first bracelet was plastic and worked with a QR code while the second had a huge electronic bracelet. Regarding what will be adopted on Friday, the Minister of Health did not reveal more details.
Lu Zhong Mao also revealed that the Hong Kong government “recommends” the implementation of part of the Chinese health law.
