The Municipal Health Department has begun a new phase of vaccination in Uberaba with the expansion of the Vacina Aqui Empresa, vaccinating not only the local workers, but also the residents surrounding the facility. In partnership with the Chamber of Shopkeepers (CDL), the vaccination center will be located near shopping centers in order to reach a larger part of the population.
On Monday (12), from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., the team will be in the Drogaria Xavier parking lot, near Roma Mall, with a vaccination point available to all residents. Vaccinations for Covid-19, influenza (influenza), meningitis and yellow fever will be taken.
According to the head of the epidemiological surveillance department, Fernanda Mendonca, the initiative aims to reach a larger part of the population of Uberaba, further expanding vaccination points in the city. He pointed out, “We seek to reach the largest number of vaccinated people in the municipality, and we believe that transferring these vaccines to commercial establishments will facilitate serving the population.”
