KElli Begovic spent most of her adolescence, specifically six years, working at a Woolworths supermarket in Queensland, Australia.
The day she decided to say goodbye, she was stunned by the reaction of her co-workers.
“I didn’t get a thank you or a goodbye. Nobody wants to know,” the fashion student says in a video she shared on TikTok.
Begovic seemed surprised as she relived the experience, before admitting that she was not surprised by her colleagues’ reaction.
“This is one of the reasons I resigned,” he eventually admitted.
“No one cared…no one cared about me. I was literally just there at my job,” he says.
The Daily Mail reported that there are those who claim that the young woman submitted her resignation and left only a note containing the information on her manager’s desk. She denies this, saying that she submitted her resignation letter a week ago.
However, in reaction to his post, many showed their solidarity, saying that they had already been through the same situation where they ended up feeling like just another person in the workplace.
