a Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, have been awarded a “special award” for being able to make the decision to have only two children, international tabloids have reported.
In an interview with Vogue in 2019, the 36-year-old Duke stated that he and his wife would have a maximum of two children for environmental reasons, given that the overpopulation of the planet was one of the mentioned issues.
However, People Matters gave the couple an award for making the “informed decision” to create a smaller family and to serve as “role examples”.
“Having a small family reduces our impact on Earth, and provides better opportunities for all of our children and future generations to grow up on a healthy planet,” the association said in a statement.
The Dukes of Sussex will receive around €580 to donate to a charitable cause of their choice.
Remember, Harry and Meghan are parents to 2-year-old Archie, and Liliette Diana, who was born in June of this year.
