Researchers around the world are concerned about a new hybrid variant of the Covit-19 called Deltacron. Strain is the junction of அறியmicron and Delta already known in the UK.

The country’s health agency said the variation was being monitored, but it was not yet clear how contagious or serious it was or what its symptoms were in the victims.

The Deltacron was first discovered in Cyprus by researcher Leonidos Kostrikis late last year. He and his team identified 25 cases and submitted them to the international database GISAID.

However, the UK case is unrelated to the one found in Cyprus because the researchers pointed out that the case sequence found by Gostrikis was erroneous.

Professor Paul Hunter, an epidemiologist at the University of East Anglia in the UK, says there is no reason to worry about the new hybrid variant.

“Currently, most versions of Delta and Ômicron are declining rapidly, and the delta in this country is almost extinct. […] Is it there [Deltacron] Delta and ரா micron antigens are shared and we already have high levels of immunity to them. So, in principle, it should not be too threatening. ”

This is not the first time SARS-CoV-2 strains have been combined. This process is common and is known as remodeling when strains simultaneously affect the same cell and transform into genes.
