Google showed off a surprise of its AI hours before I/O began

We are only hours away from the start of Google’s annual I/O 2024 conference. This is a special moment full of news and surprises, but Google decided to anticipate one of the new developments in the field of artificial intelligence. He did not explain what it was, but a simple video promises a lot for this event and for the benefit of Gemini.

Artificial Intelligence is taking over the Internet and many companies like Google are taking advantage of this moment.  All the technologies presented have this component, giving users great freedom, both by having existing intelligence, but also by being able to automate many elements.
With Gemini, Google is already in this space and promises more.  AI/O should show that, as it did last year.  Proof of this is a video now posted on X (formerly Titter).  This shows the user preparing for I/O using their smartphone.
The big difference from what we already know comes from the interaction that occurs.  The user's question for artificial intelligence is what is happening in what the smartphone camera shows.  This person seems to be able to read what you see and describe it completely.

Gemini may have more news at I/O 2024
Even more interesting is the fact that this artificial intelligence, which we do not know if it is a Gemini, is able to explain what is happening.  To the question “What do you think is happening here” the correct answer immediately appears, which is that you are seeing the preparation stage for a major event.  The conversation then continues naturally and in context.
This demonstration, as a whole, is very impressive, not only in terms of the multimodal use of audio and video in the instructions, but also in terms of the nature in which the conversation takes place.  Everything seems to happen in real time, certainly with information that is sent to Google and then returned after it is interpreted correctly.
It's strange to see this new video from Google, related to AI, popping up within X few hours of the OpenAI event, where the creator of ChatGPT demonstrated similar functionality.  All we have to do is wait for the input/output of the Gemini creator to understand what is actually being prepared, whether for this intelligence or simply for his assistant.
