journalist Rodrigo Capello To social media to inform followers of his health condition. The sports business expert underwent facial surgery To correct the respiratory problem that the health professional suffers from Globe Together since 2020.

“Thanks for the many positive messages. The surgery took 4 and a half hours and was successful, I can already see the difference when sleeping and breathing. I went out today and I’m home. When I can talk a little better,” I will make a video to tell you how it was. Thanks again!” Capello commented.

On Monday, Capello stunned his followers by talking about the severe sleep apnea he has experienced. The journalist stated that he thought he would die after a crisis in June. The professional said he was at risk of dying from the disorder.

Sleep apnea is a condition in which a person stops breathing several times during sleep, then wakes up suddenly. Capello mentioned that during the surgery, he had to break his jaw, pull it forward slightly and remove all four wisdom molars to make it easier to breathe.

The solution is orthognathic surgery, which I will undergo in a few hours. The surgeon will break the jawbone to pull it millimeters forward, open up a space in the nose and remove four wisdom teeth, as I would need, with braces, for a tooth regeneration. Of course my appearance will change.
