From Monday (11), vaccination against measles and influenza continues for a new audience in Juiz de Fora. The Elderly Health Service (Sasi), exclusively for the elderly, offers vaccinations, from 8am to 4pm, without a lunch break. D-Day of Immunization, which targets all seniors and health workers, regardless of age, takes place on April 30.

The flu shot can be obtained with the Covid-19 vaccinations and other vaccines without any problem.

In the case of measles vaccination, the campaign continues until June 3. Health workers 40 years of age or older can receive the immunizing agent. To get vaccinated, simply go to one of the municipality’s UBSs, Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 10:30 am and from 1 pm to 4 pm. This second week, from April 11-16, health workers aged 40 and over will be vaccinated.

The vaccine is contraindicated in the recording of congenital or acquired immunodeficiency (severe clinical or laboratory), HIV infection in persons with CD4 (immune system cells) rates less than 15%, pregnant women and persons with severe sensitivity to the components of the formulation.

The required documents

for immunization, the worker must bring an original document with a photo, a statement of employment or a paycheck, a business card proving the association with a health institution; If self-employed, handwritten statement and registration with the class council; If the caregiver, personal statement and employer statement.

Vaccination locations and times

In basic health units, the vaccination is from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

In the Elderly Health Service, which operates in Rua Battista de Oliveira 943, Centro, vaccination is exclusive for seniors and operates from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
