Filming for The Lord of the Rings is moving to the UK


Amazon Studios has announced the footage for the as yet untitled season 2 of the series Head of rings, Will be held in the UK.

The long-awaited series Head of rings Season 1 has just finished shooting in New Zealand and is making its stage debut Streaming Prime Video in more than 240 countries around the world on Friday, September 2, 2022.

The new epic play will be brought to the famous second age screen of Middle Earth history for the first time JRR Tolkien. The series begins with a moment of relative silence that takes place thousands of years before the events are described The Hobbit e Head of rings, By JRR Tolkien, and a group of some new and familiar characters as they face the terrible rise of evil in the Middle-earth.

Post production will continue in New Zealand until June 2022 and pre-production for Season 2 in the UK will begin in early 2022.

They are joined by executive producers Lindsay Weber, Kalam Green, JA Bayona, Bellon Adienza, Justin Doppel, Jason Cahill, Jennifer Hutchison, Bruce Richmond and Sharon Doll Yucuvato. Wayne Se Yip, co-executive producer and co-producer with JA Bayona and Charlotte Brandstrom. Christopher Newman is a producer and Ron Ames is a co-producer.
